New web cam at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery
ONLINE UPDATE, Aug. 15
A new live web cam is now online overlooking the raceways at the Fish Hatchery below Wolf Creek Dam, where millions of fish are raised. Viewers can watch visitors stop by,  and workers tend to the fish. The camera also has a view of the sky and includes the current temperature, humidity and barometer readings at that location. It can be seen by visiting either lakecumberland.com or lakecumberlandwebcams.com

RCMS wins first game
In August 14-20 Issue

The Russell County Middle School football team won its season opener on Saturday in the Larue County Bash.

The Lakers beat Spencer County 28 to 14.

The Lakers are coached by Barry Bolin, Greg Hammond,

Chris Taylor, Lynn Taylor and Donnie Morrison.

RCMS has their home opener Thursday at 5 p.m. against Clinton County at Laker Field. Good luck this season, Lakers!

On Saturday, the Laker boys golf team captured third place in the Rockcastle County Invitational with a score of 334. Scoring for the Lakers: JaredGosser-81, Alex Mann-83, Jordan Murray-85, Jacob Cook-85 and Joe Wilson-86.
